Because of that Jenny gif from My Life as a Teenage Robot I wanted to make a nice sourced post of a bunch of gifs of western properties by Yoh Yoshinari.
As you can see he has a unique perspective and he does extremely distinctive flames. His sakuga is unparalleled and some of the best in the business. He’s worked mostly in the gainex animation studio and some of his recent work can be seen in Panty and Stocking where he was a key player, designing much of the show, some of the best sequences (I.e. episode one and six) were all his design and it shows, he’s also worked on titular properties such as the famous Gurren Lagann and FLCL. He is also a westaboo, as you can see.

Eventually you’re told by some black chick that you’re the reincarnation of some gang OG and have to start a revolution, so you murder more people and rob a hardware store before going to a gay Mayan strip club in a volcano to solicit one of the strippers for some hot booty, but he tries to murder you so you go and stab the Big O in the chest. Then the black chick gives you some bling and tells you to fuck off.
Basically it’s like a boring episode of Burn Notice but with a really shitty combat system and no guns.

I spent all day cleaning out a house that my family bought, don’t get any ideas, we’re not that well off, it’s our neighbor’s, it’s just a small ranch house. Anyway, almost all the junk is gone in there with the exception of a bit of furniture, ANNNND
like 80 ATARI GAMES, I spent like 2 hours going through them just now and cataloging them, most are IN BOX with manuals (open of course) we also have like three systems and a bunch of extra controllers and junk. Tomorrow, my brother and I are going to try and hook the damn thing up and test to see if all the games work
I haven’t been drawing at all for like a week and it’s upsetting to me. Hopefully now I can get some drawing done as I’ve done a lot of work these past few days. I wanna do another pixel project.
There’s a rumor going around that a non japanese helped during this episode with key parts, I don’t know if this was his scene, but that animation is really great, reminds me a lot of some scenes in this years young animator training project, wasurenagumo. Which, if you have 20 minutes, I’d REALLY suggest watching.
